FOUNDERS David Segel ______________________________ Steve McEveety Mr. McEveety has Executive Producer and Producer credits for a number of the world’s most celebrated films, including THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, BRAVEHEART, WE WERE SOLDIERS, and others. He has over 25 years experience as a studio executive with ICON and other production companies. His film THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST is the most profitable film of 2004 and one of the most profitable films of all time. Mr. McEveety is a graduate of Loyola Maramount University. To view Steve's Filmography click here. ______________________________ John Shepherd Mr. Shepherd has served as an executive for Dreamworks, Dean River Productions and other studios, with several award-winning feature films and children’s animation properties to his credit. He is coordinating production for the current slate of Mpower films. Mr. Shepherd is a graduate of UCLA. ______________________________ Todd Burns Mr. Burns has extensive experience in all areas of motion picture finance, production, marketing and distribution. Mr. Burns has represented high net worth individuals and international companies in their film investments. He has worked in London and Romania. Mr. Burns sits on several non-profit boards. He has a JD/MBA from Pepperdine University and a BA from UCLA.
Colleen Seldin Colleen Seldin has joined MPower as an International Sales Consultant for its new international sales division following her role as Senior Vice President of International Distribution and Operations for Miramax Films from March 2004 until November 2008. Seldin spearheaded the day-day-day operations for the theatrical, home video and television units for the international division at Miramax, including overseeing sales and the financial and legal aspects of these businesses. During her Miramax tenure, Seldin spearheaded the overall international release strategy including distribution, marketing and publicity for films including Academy and Golden Globe Winners, THERE WILL BE BLOOD, NEVERLAND, AND CHICAGO, as well as the Academy and Golden Globe nominated GONE BABY GONE, and the ground breaking SIN CITY and KILL BILL: Volumes 1 and 2. Seldin joined Miramax in December 1999 as a Director, International Finance and Operations and was promoted in 2001 to Vice President. Seldin came to MPower International from Miramax via Sony and New Line Cinema. She has an MBA in Finance from Pace University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. ______________________________ Andrew Hyatt With the company since 2007, Mr. Hyatt is responsible for overseeing development for Mpower Pictures. Prior to working for Mpower Pictures, Hyatt was a Senior Executive on such titles as: GHOST RIDER, BRATZ, DOOMSDAY, and TEKKEN. Hyatt graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Film Production. ______________________________ Jason Mellerstig Educated at Brown University, Oxford University, and the UCLA School of Law, Jason began his entertainment career as a U.S. Marine extra reenacting the invasion of Saipan for John Woo’s WINDTALKERS. Since that time, Jason has been far behind the camera working in Business and Legal Affairs at Fox, Carsey-Werner-Mandabach LLC (That 70s Show), ABC, and MGM prior to joining Mpower Pictures. ______________________________ Josh Rader Josh Rader joined Mpower Pictures in January 2007 as a Development Executive. He is responsible for overseeing the development of movies for television, mini-series, alternative programming and scripted series. Josh began his career in entertainment at APA Talent and Literary Agency as a talent-booking agent for actors and actresses in television, feature films and theatre. He is a graduate of the University of Miami and Academe of Film and Television, Prague. ______________________________ Terence Berden Terence (T.J.) Berden has been working in grassroots film marketing for two years, collaborating on such films as TRADE and EXPELLED. T.J. Received his B.A. From Loyola University in Chicago, where he specialized in documentary film and social communications. ______________________________ Shalini Trehan Shalini Trehan is the managing director of Mpower Pictures’ specialty film division, Mpower Nspire, for which she oversees the development and acquisition of Mpower’s specialty projects with a focus on inspirational and redemptive stories. Prior to joining Mpower, Trehan was an artist manager at The Firm, where she served on the management teams for Jennifer Lopez, Pete Yorn, Three Days Grace, Brittany Murphy, Enrique Iglesias, and Chris Cornell, and signed and managed the Grammy-nominated, platinum recording band, OneRepublic. Trehan graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Marketing from Pepperdine University, where she currently serves on the Alumni Board. ______________________________ Shelby Lewis Shelby Lewis is a recent graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and has been focused on the power of film her whole life. She has extensive experience in all aspects of filmmaking. ______________________________ Casey Manley Casey Manley, a recent graduate from Biola University, loves thoughtful and purposeful filmmaking. Having taken on a variety of production roles in differing student films including Jitensha, winner of the 2009 Heartland Film Festival’s top award for the short film medium, Casey is looking forward to an enriching career in the film industry.
